GENERAL CONTEST RULES
1. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. Contests are open to all WKIS-FM listeners who are 16 years of age or older and who are legal US residents and reside in one of the following Florida counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, Palm Beach or Martin with a permanent address. Must possess a valid, government-issued ID.
b. Employees of WKIS-FM / Beasley FM Acquisition Corp. its licensee, its parent corporation, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, Palm Beach or Martin and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
c. Listeners are eligible to win a WKIS-FM contest only once thirty (30) days and a prize valued at $600 or more, only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
2. PRIZES
a. Unless otherwise specified, all prizes or prize certificates must be claimed at the office of WKIS-FM 194 NW 187th Street, Miami Fl 33169, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. Prize or prize certificate must be claimed within 30 days of winning. Failure to claim prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize.
b. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. WKIS-FM is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
c. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
3. CONDITIONS
a. Taxes and Liability: Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Contest winnings will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and winners can expect to receive a 1099 tax form for prizes which total more than $600 for the year.
b. By participating in the contest, contestant agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation.
c. Contest winners (and their guests or travel companions, if any) will be required to sign a liability release and a publicity release. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold WKIS-FM) / Beasley FM Acquisition Corp. its corporate licensee, its corporate parent, their affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. WKIS-FM will be excused from its obligation to air the contest if its performance is delayed or prevented due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to acts of God, public enemies, war, civil disorder, fire, flood, hurricanes, explosion, labor disputes or strikes, and any acts by any governmental authority.
e. WKIS-FM, its corporate licensee and parent corporation and subsidiaries of such corporations thereof, are not responsible for failure to conduct or for alterations to the contest due to circumstances beyond the control of any such entity.
f. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
g. WKIS-FM reserves the right to end this contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air or publication at www.wkis.com.
h. WKIS-FM reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.
i. WKIS-FM is not responsible for any prizes or certificates lost or stolen after the winner has claimed them from the station.
j. Prizes are awarded ‘as is’ with no guarantees or warranties as to use. Acceptance of a prize releases WKIS-FM, its sponsors and advertisers from all liability and claims concerning the prize, its delivery, and its use.
k. WKIS-FM is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
l. By participating in this contest, listeners agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WKIS-FM).
m. Any materials submitted become the property of the station and will not be returned.
n. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions subject to all federal, state and local laws.
o. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WKIS-FM,194 NW 187th Street, Miami Fl 33169, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to WKIS-FM
KISS Country Summer Meltdown
“Kiss Country’s Summer Meltdown”
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY
a. The KISS Country Summer Meltdown contest will begin Monday June 28, 2010 at 7:20am and end on Sunday July 4, 2010. There will be 6 qualifiers to participate in the Grand Prize event at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino located at 901 S Hallandale Beach Blvd. in Hallandale Beach. Each qualifier will be paired with a block of ice with a $100 free play chip inside it. The first contestant to meltdown their block of ice and completely free their chip from the ice wins the grand prize trip for to see Tim McGraw in Colorado. To melt the ice block contestants may melt the ice by using their body, or by the means provided by KISS Country; contestants may not throw the ice or bring any items from home.
b. There are two ways to qualify:
Method 1) each weekday at 7:20am Walker & Walker will invite listeners to call in at 1-866-0999 to play Battles of the Sexes the winner each day will become a qualifier in the KISS Country Summer Meltdown grand prize event at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino on July 4, 2010 On air qualifiers must be checked in at the KISS Country display at the Walking Ring by 4pm.
Method 2) On Sunday July 4, 2010 anytime between 9am – 4pm only, swipe your player’s club card at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino to receive a paper entry. Then between 4pm-4:30pm bring your entry to the KISS Country display in the Walking Ring and drop your entry in the box to be entered to participate. Your entry must be received by 4:30pm.in order to be eligible to participate. One entry per person. You must be present at 4:30pm at the time of the last chance selection on July 4 2010 in the Walking Ring at the Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino to become the 6th qualifier to participate in the grand prize event. To receive an entry you must have a Good Luck Players Club Card. It is FREE to join and you must show valid photo identification with proof of age (21+ years or older). It is the player’s responsibility to verify that their club card is properly inserted to receive an entry. Gulfstream Park employees are not permitted to participate in the Good Luck Player’s Club.

3. PRIZES
- There will be six (6) qualifying prize awarded. Each qualifying prize is $100 of FREE Play at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino. The Free Play is a promotional play on slot machines only. You must be a good luck player’s club member. The Free play must be played on July 4, 2010 it cannot be redeemed for cash. There will be one grand prize trip for two awarded including roundtrip coach airfare to Denver Colorado July 30, 2010 - August 1, 2010, hotel accommodations and two tickets to see Tim McGraw on July 31, 2010. Grand prize is valued at $1,200.00(Twelve Hundred dollars). If the winner cannot travel on the specified dates the prize will be forfeited, All incidentals ie meals, ground transportation, tips, taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
a. All prizes or prize certificates must be claimed at the office of (WKIS-FM, 194 NW 187th Street, Miami, Fl 33169, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. 4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
a. Time and date for winner selection: beginning Monday June 28, 2010 - Friday July 2, 2010 each weekday at 7:20a Walker & Walker will invite listeners to participate in the Battle of the Sexes contest the winner each day will become a qualifier in the Grand Prize event. On July 4, 2010 at 4:30pm at Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino one additional qualifier will be randomly selected from the last chance entries from the Good luck players club that day.
b. Last chance winner selection: on July 4, 2010 one additional qualifier will be randomly selected from all the players club card entries received that day. Contestant must be 21 years of age who are legal US residents and reside in one of the following Florida counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, Palm Beach or Martin with a permanent address, a valid photo ID; and who has not won anything in the last 30 days from KISS Country nor already qualified in the contest or reside in the same household as one of the qualifiers already in the contest.
c. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

a. WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions.

By participating in the contest, contestant hereby releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Station, its licensee, affiliates, parents, assigns, successors, employees, sponsors, agents and all others connected with them and the contest from any and all liability, claims, actions and damages sustained or incurred by participation in the contest and the receipt and use of any prize awarded (if any) through such contest arising in any manner whatsoever.
e. Contest winners will be selected and notified of their prize in the manner announced by the Station. Contest winners (and their guests or travel companions, if any) may be required, in Station’s sole discretion, to sign a liability release and a publicity release. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold Station, its licensee, parents, affiliates, assigns, successors and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. Any person who refuses to sign the release will forfeit any and all prizes.

The Station is not responsible for (i) lost, stolen, mutilated, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) telephone or mobile service outages, delays, busy signals, facsimile transmission errors, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call or from sending a text message (if applicable, message and data rates may apply, and the Station is not responsible for any fees incurred by an entrant for this method of entry); (iii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technical difficulties.
n. By participating in this contest, listeners agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of Station.
o. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any online entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
p. Any materials submitted become the property of the station and will not be returned.
q. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions are subject to all federal, state and local laws.

s. Station cannot be held responsible for allegations of telephone malfunctions. Station is not responsible for callers lost or disconnected before completing his or her prize claim. When a caller is lost or disconnected prior to broadcast, station can, at its discretion, select the next eligible caller received to win/participate. Station is not responsible for any lost connections, miscommunications, failed computer or telephone transmissions, equipment or other technical failure or service interruptions. The station is not responsible for any carrier or server delays or failures.
